IT Support Specialist

We’re hiring an IT Support Specialist to provide frontline technical support to internal users and clients, maintain endpoints and basic network services, and help ensure smooth daily IT operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system; log, triage, and resolve incidents.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and common peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot Windows and macOS client issues, common business applications, and basic connectivity problems.
  • Diagnose and resolve basic TCP/IP networking, Wi‑Fi, VPN, and printer issues.
  • Use remote‑support tools to assist users and perform on‑site visits when required.
  • Perform routine patching, antivirus checks, backups, and endpoint maintenance.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory, documentation, and knowledge‑base articles.
  • Assist with user onboarding/offboarding, account setup, and permissions.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior engineers and participate in after‑hours on‑call rotation as needed.

Qualifications (required)

  • 1–3 years of hands‑on IT support or helpdesk experience.
  • Practical knowledge of Windows client OS; familiarity with macOS an asset.
  • Basic networking understanding (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS) and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems and remote‑support tools.
  • Strong customer‑service orientation and clear communication skills.
  • Right to work in the UAE.

Qualifications (preferred)

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, Intune/MDM, or common backup solutions.
  • Basic scripting (PowerShell/Bash) or automation experience.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and security best practices.
  • Arabic language skills an asset.
