IT Support Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support to our employees. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining computer systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, printers, and network-related issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving faults
  • Set up new users’ accounts and profiles and manage access rights
  • Maintain and monitor computer networks and systems
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates of systems and software
  • Ensure data backup and system security procedures are followed
  • Maintain IT inventory (laptops, desktops, headsets, routers, etc.)
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software procurement and repairs
  • Document issues and maintain records of technical support activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and MS Office
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, routers, switches)
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Good understanding of cybersecurity practices
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
