Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist who is locally available in Bahrain and able to join immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the organization’s IT systems, providing technical support to staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights
- Monitor and maintain network systems, servers, and internet connectivity
- Install and update operating systems and applications
- Assist with IT security, antivirus updates, and system backups
- Respond to helpdesk requests and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Maintain IT inventory and documentation
- Support system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers when required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Must be currently located in Bahrain
- Immediate joiners preferred
- 2–4 years of experience in IT support or technical support roles
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, networking basics, and hardware troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Active Directory, network configuration, and basic cybersecurity practices
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and customer support skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a corporate IT environment
- Knowledge of network devices, routers, and firewalls
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are an advantage
