Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Specialist to support and maintain our organization’s IT infrastructure, systems, and end-user services. The ideal candidate should be currently based in Bahrain, available for immediate joining, and have a strong background in IT support, systems administration, and troubleshooting within a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, servers, printers, and other IT equipment
- Monitor and maintain IT systems, ensuring high availability and performance
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control (Active Directory or similar)
- Support email systems, office applications, and business software
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi)
- Ensure data backup, recovery processes, and system security compliance
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT-related issues
- Maintain IT inventory and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 3–5+ years of IT support / IT specialist experience (industry experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic server administration
- Experience with networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, routers, switches)
- Familiarity with IT security practices and endpoint protection tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
Preferred Skills
- Experience in corporate or multi-site environments
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure / AWS basics)
- IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, CCNA) are an advantage
