IT Support Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Specialist to support and maintain our organization’s IT infrastructure, systems, and end-user services. The ideal candidate should be currently based in Bahrain, available for immediate joining, and have a strong background in IT support, systems administration, and troubleshooting within a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day IT support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, servers, printers, and other IT equipment
  • Monitor and maintain IT systems, ensuring high availability and performance
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control (Active Directory or similar)
  • Support email systems, office applications, and business software
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi)
  • Ensure data backup, recovery processes, and system security compliance
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT-related issues
  • Maintain IT inventory and documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3–5+ years of IT support / IT specialist experience (industry experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic server administration
  • Experience with networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, routers, switches)
  • Familiarity with IT security practices and endpoint protection tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in corporate or multi-site environments
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure / AWS basics)
  • IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, CCNA) are an advantage
