Position Summary

Blue Rose QA LLC is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and ensure smooth operation of all IT systems, hardware, and software within the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, maintaining IT infrastructure, and supporting employees with day-to-day technical needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Monitor and maintain IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across company systems.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Support Microsoft Windows environments, email systems, and office productivity tools.
• Assist in network setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi).
• Perform regular system updates, backups, and security checks.
• Document technical issues, solutions, and IT procedures.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when required.
• Provide IT training and guidance to staff when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking concepts.
• Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Familiarity with IT security best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified, etc.) are an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with helpdesk/ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of firewall, antivirus, and endpoint protection tools.
• Basic understanding of cloud services (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Google Workspace).
