IT Support Specialist (Immediate Joiners Required)

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled IT Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will either have 2–3 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure and support or be a self-driven individual with strong knowledge and interest in IT systems, scripting, and remote monitoring & management (RMM) tools.

This role involves supporting servers, desktops, email systems, and backup infrastructure, while also contributing to automation and migration projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide desktop and server support (Windows OS, applications, hardware troubleshooting).
• Assist in email migrations (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Exchange).
• Manage and monitor IT systems using RMM tools (ManageEngine, SolarWinds, Acronis, etc.).
• Create and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell (and other scripting languages).
• Support backup and disaster recovery operations using tools like Veeam, Commvault, and Acronis (email, on-premises, and cloud workloads).
• Collaborate with senior engineers on server, network, and security projects.
• Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and support processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated IT incidents within SLAs.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Understanding of RMM tools (ManageEngine, SolarWinds, Acronis).
• Strong interest and/or hands-on knowledge in scripting and automation (PowerShell required, Python/Bash a plus).
• Familiarity with backup solutions such as Veeam, Commvault, Acronis.
• Knowledge of email systems and migrations (Microsoft 365, Exchange, Google Workspace).
• Good grasp of server and desktop support (Windows Server, Active Directory, group policies, etc.).
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred, not mandatory).
• 0–3 years of IT experience (internships, freelance projects, or labs are acceptable).
• Relevant certifications (MCSA, CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+, Veeam Certified, etc.) will be an advantage.
