IT Systems Engineer & ERP Administrator

Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Systems Engineer/Administrator to oversee our institution's digital infrastructure. This role is pivotal in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our campus networks, and— most importantly—our ERP system. You will be the backbone of our technical operations, supporting faculty, staff, and students by maintaining the tools that power modern learning and administration.
Key Responsibilities
1. ERP Management & Support

  • Serve as the primary administrator for the School/College Management System (ERP).
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and data integrity across modules (Admissions, Finance, Academics, Exams, and HR).
  • Collaborate with department heads to customize workflows and generate analytical reports.
  • Coordinate with ERP vendors for updates, patches, and troubleshooting.
  • 2. Systems & Infrastructure Maintenance
  • Oversee the administration of Microsoft 365 Education or Google Workspace for Education.
  • Ensure regular backups of all critical data and lead Disaster Recovery (DR) planning.

  • Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive student and institutional data.
  • Monitor system logs for activity alerts and potential security breaches.
  • Ensure all software and hardware comply with institutional policies and educational data privacy regulations.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for software issues.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff and faculty on ERP usage and general IT best practices.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in System Administration, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Hands-on experience managing ERP systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite, SAP, or specialized EdTech ERPs).
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a "service-first" mindset.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users (teachers/administrators).
  • Excellent time management to handle projects during school breaks and urgent issues during term time.
