IT Systems Support Specialist

Position Summary:

The IT Support Specialist provides maintenance of the computer desktop / laptop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the internal IT Helpdesk. Administers and provides internal support for computers, printers, servers and related equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitors and responds quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk; resolves problems to the user’s satisfaction
  • Monitors service desk for tickets assigned and to the queue and processes first-in, first out based on priority
  • Modifies configurations, utilities, software default settings etc. for the local workstations
  • Utilizes and maintains the helpdesk tracking software; reports issues to service desk for escalation
  • Installs, tests and configures new workstations, peripheral equipment and software
  • Assists with the onboarding of new users
  • Assists IT & Systems Manager to maintains inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses
  • Performs timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required
  • Assists with maintenance of existing MLS system configurations and lists
  • Administrator for Arizona Real Estate License testing
  • Assists with security cameras maintenance and repairs Pearson Vue.
  • Assists in resolving a vulnerability related to a WordPress injection attack as needed
  • Conducts audits of IDX Websites for compliance
  • Performs other duties as assigned by both IT Systems Manager or MLS Vice President

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Associated degree or equivalent of two-year College or technical school : or
  • 6 months to one year related experience and/or training

Compensation:

Competitive salary and benefits commensurate with qualifications.

Pay: $18.75 - $22.50 per hour
