The IT Workforce Management Systems Manager is responsible for managing, configuring, and supporting our UKG, Passport, and LCP platforms. The ideal candidate will collaborate with HR, Legal, Payroll, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth integrations, dependable system operations, and that the platform aligns effectively with business processes.

Platform Support: Provide comprehensive support for the UKG, Passport, and LCP platforms ensuring its optimal performance and availability. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise, working closely with other IT teams and external vendors as needed.
Management: Responsible for supervising employees, providing coaching, supporting professional development, and fostering engagement.
Capacity Planning: Generate reports and dashboards focused on KPIs measuring team support, throughput, and capacity. Monitor ticket volume and resource distribution to anticipate needs, address issues proactively, and support organizational demands efficiently.
Configuration: Manage the configuration of the Kronos system to meet the specific needs of the organization. This includes setting up user profiles, defining workflows, and customizing features to align with business requirements.
Collaboration: Work with the Kronos Product Owner to assist the Payroll, HR, and Legal departments in identifying their needs and making sure that UKG, Passport, and LCP platforms align with their processes. Promote effective communication and cooperation between these departments and the IT team.
Training and Documentation: Collaborate with the Kronos Product Owner and payroll team to assist in designing effective training programs for end-users, ensuring proficiency in utilizing the Kronos system. Develop and maintain thorough documentation detailing system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Operational & Technical: Manage end-to-end incident responses for Kronos, including monitoring, remediation, and reporting. Oversee system health checks, integrations, upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery planning. Design, test, deploy, and monitor integrations with HRIS, payroll, scheduling, and ERP systems. Lead release management and disaster recovery activities.
Data, Reporting & Payroll Support: Ensure timekeeping data accuracy, minimize payroll errors, and provide operational reports and dashboards. Track key performance indicators. Support ad-hoc data requests and monitor KPIs like uptime and payroll accuracy.
Governance, Change & Release Management: Manage change control, maintain release documentation, and coordinate user acceptance testing and sign-off.
Vendor & Contract Management: Oversee vendor relationships, support SLAs, and handle contracts and license renewals, including coordinating upgrades and services.
What You Need to Succeed:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or the equivalent amount of years of experience.
5 plus years of leadership and management experience
Professional Management Experience
Demonstrated expertise in administering and providing support for the Kronos platform, as well as other workforce management tools
Strong understanding of HR, Legal, and Payroll processes and how they integrate with the Kronos system
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
Skilled in communicating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, able to present technical information clearly to all stakeholders, including executives
Experienced in training and documentation
Union and collective bargaining agreement (CBA) experience
Experience with Passport management tools
