About the Role:

We're seeking a skilled JavaScript Developer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience to contribute to our diverse range of projects. As a JavaScript Developer, you'll be instrumental in creating dynamic web applications, focusing on backend development using Node.js. While this role begins as remote, there's potential for a hybrid setup in the future. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, develop and maintain robust backend solutions leveraging Node.js, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
• Design and implement efficient RESTful APIs to power various features within our web applications.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Utilize cloud services, particularly AWS, for deployment and management of backend infrastructure.
• Ensure the performance, reliability, and security of backend systems through rigorous testing and optimization.
• Maintain clear communication with team members, providing updates on progress and addressing technical hurdles.
• Demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills and maintain a positive attitude towards challenges.
  
  

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from a reputable institution in Karachi, such as NED or FAST, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend development, with a strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js.
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS, is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Proactive mindset and a willingness to take on challenges with enthusiasm.
• Availability for flexible working hours to accommodate overlap with the US morning time zone.

Remote Status : Initially remote, potential for hybrid setup

Working Hours: Flexible, with overlap with US (EST) mornings

Holidays : Local Holidays

Salary : PKR 300,000 to PKR 500,000 per month
