Position Overview

Motifz Textile Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a highly experienced, dynamic, and result-oriented Senior Mechanical & Electrical Engineer (General Manager Level) to lead and manage the complete Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Department of our Textile Processing Division.

The ideal candidate must possess exceptional leadership skills along with extensive technical expertise in Textile Processing, Digital Printing, Dyeing, Finishing, and Stenter (Thunder) Operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum plant efficiency, minimizing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and leading engineering excellence across the organization.

Required Qualification

• BSc / BE Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (PEC Registered preferred)
• Master's degree will be considered an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a General Manager / Head of Engineering position.
• Mandatory experience in Textile Processing Industry.
• Hands-on expertise in Digital Printing, Stenter (Thunder), Dyeing, Finishing, Utilities, and Plant Engineering is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the complete Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Department.
• Ensure smooth operation of Textile Processing, Digital Printing, Dyeing, Finishing, and Stenter (Thunder) machinery.
• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Minimize equipment downtime and maximize production efficiency.
• Supervise installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and upgrading of plant machinery.
• Manage Boilers, Thermopacks, Chillers, Air Compressors, Generators, HVAC, Electrical Distribution Systems, and other utilities.
• Lead maintenance teams while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards.
• Control maintenance budgets and spare parts inventory.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Planning, Procurement, and Senior Management to achieve operational objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, energy-saving projects, and engineering best practices.
