Job Title: Freelance Ghostwriter & Newsletter Editor (Christian Non-Profit)

JAbout the Role

Religious Freedom Coalition is seeking a gifted Ghostwriter with a heart for ministry to produce our monthly digital and print newsletter. This is a vital role in our communication strategy; you will be the "voice" that connects our supporters to the life-changing work happening on the ground.

We aren't looking for someone to reinvent our brand. We need a writer who can study our established format, tone, and style and replicate it seamlessly. You will take raw updates, bullet points, and testimonies from our leadership team and craft them into a professional, faith-filled narrative each month.

Key Responsibilities

• Monthly Newsletter Production: Write and edit a [2-4 page] newsletter based on information provided by our staff.
• Voice Alignment: Maintain a consistent, "heart-led" tone that matches our organization's history and theological values.
• Storytelling: Transform raw data and brief interview notes into compelling stories of impact and faith.
• Collaborative Editing: Work with our leadership to refine drafts and ensure 100% accuracy in mission and message.
• Formatting: Ensure the final copy fits into our established monthly template.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven Ghostwriting Experience: Ability to "disappear" into an existing brand voice.
• Christian Ministry Context: A deep understanding of Christian language, Scripture, and the nuances of non-profit donor communication.
• Professional Editing: Meticulous grammar, proofreading, and structural editing skills.
• Self-Managed: Ability to hit recurring monthly deadlines without reminders.
