Joinery and Custom Furniture Designer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design whole-house custom woodwork solutions including cabinetry wardrobes wine cellars wall paneling wooden doors etc.

2. Independently complete the full process from site measurement concept design rendering production to construction drawing detailing.

3. Accurately capture client needs and provide design proposals and material matching solutions aligned with high-end positioning.

4. Prepare Bill of Materials quotations and project budgets control design costs.

5. Closely coordinate with factory and installation teams track project execution and ensure design fidelity.

6. Participate in showroom sample design and updates to enhance display effectiveness.

7. Provide professional pre-sales consultation and after-sales technical support to clients.

Requirements:

Mandatory Requirements:

Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional joinery and whole-house custom design experience in Dubai.

Education Background: Interior Design Furniture Design Environmental Art Design or related fields.

Design Software: Proficient in AutoCAD SketchUp modeling and rendering skilled in 3ds Max Kujiale or similar rendering software.

AutoCAD, SketchUp.

Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of various board materials solid wood plywood particle board MDF hardware accessories edge-banding techniques and joinery structures.

Execution Capability: Full-process tracking experience from design drawings to factory production and on-site installation able to independently resolve on-site technical issues.

Language Skills: Basic English communication skills able to read imported material specifications and conduct basic communication with international clients and suppliers.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in villa and luxury apartment whole-house design projects.

Familiar with high-end design trends such as luxury Italian minimalism and modern light luxury.

Experience with parametric design tools Grasshopper or Cinema 4D.

Experience in high-end furniture showroom on-site design or sales support.

Valid UAE driver's license.

Compensation and Benefits:

Basic Salary: AED 5000 to 10000 per month negotiable based on experience and capability.

Commission and Bonus: Project commission plus annual performance bonus.

Visa and Insurance: Company-sponsored UAE work visa and medical insurance.

Paid Leave: 30 days paid annual leave plus UAE public holidays.

Air Ticket Benefit: Round-trip home visit ticket every two years.
