JOINERY DETAILER

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Joinery Detailer with 5–10 years of hands-on experience in producing high-quality technical drawings and coordinating joinery works. The ideal candidate will be able to manage complex detailing independently and provide strong technical support to the production and installation teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D shop drawings for joinery works including cabinetry, furniture, wall cladding, doors, wardrobes, kitchens, and custom fit-out elements.
• Produce accurate fabrication drawings, cutting lists, and material take-offs for workshop production.
• Coordinate closely with designers, project managers, and workshop teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements and technical standards.
• Review drawings prepared by junior detailers/draftsmen, providing guidance to maintain accuracy, quality, and consistency.
• Provide technical support during production and installation, resolving issues related to materials, hardware, and assembly details.
• Conduct site measurements as required to verify dimensions and site conditions.
• Assist with machine-related requirements, including preparing files or technical information needed for workshop machinery during the production process.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in joinery detailing within a fit-out, woodworking, or furniture manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of 3D modelling software is an advantage.
• In-depth understanding of joinery materials, hardware, fabrication methods, and installation techniques.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Education

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred).
