Draftsman – Interior / Fit-Out & Joinery

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman specializing in interior fit-out, joinery, and HPL works. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical details, ensuring drawings are accurate, coordinated, and compliant with project requirements.

This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent AutoCAD skills, and close coordination with the estimation, production, and project teams to support smooth execution from design to installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical drawings for joinery, HPL works, toilet cubicles, wall protection systems, and interior fit-out works
• Extract and verify quantities from drawings to support estimation, fabrication, and procurement
• Coordinate with project managers, estimation team, production team, and site engineers to ensure drawings reflect site conditions and approved specifications
• Revise and update drawings based on consultant, client, and site comments
• Ensure all drawings comply with approved materials, specifications, and local standards
• Prepare coordination drawings and resolve technical clashes when required
• Maintain proper drawing records, revisions, and document control
• Support the project team during execution with updated drawings and clarifications

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Draftsman in interior fit-out / joinery projects (UAE experience preferred)
• Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Strong understanding of construction details, joinery fabrication, HPL systems, and installation methods
• Ability to read, interpret, and develop drawings from architectural and consultant documents
• Experience in preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings
• High attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple departments

Preferred (Added Advantage)

• Experience with compact HPL, toilet cubicles, lockers
• Knowledge of site execution and fabrication processes
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards and practices
