Joinery Draftsman

We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially minded Joinery Estimator to support our interior fit-out projects. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates for bespoke joinery and fit-out works, from tender stage through to project handover. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of joinery, materials, and manufacturing processes, with the ability to work closely with design, production, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for joinery and interior fit-out projects
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents to assess scope and risks
• Measure and price bespoke joinery items (casework, cabinetry, wall paneling, doors, etc.)
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Price materials, labour, machinery, finishes, hardware, and installation costs
• Value engineer proposals to meet client budgets without compromising quality
• Assist with tender submissions, clarifications, and post-tender negotiations
• Maintain a database of rates, suppliers, and historical project costs
• Work closely with designers, project managers, and production teams to ensure accuracy
• Support cost control and variations during project execution when required

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years’ experience as a Joinery Estimator or similar role within interior fit-out/joinery
• Strong understanding of joinery manufacturing methods and materials
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet tight deadlines

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
