Joinery Draftsman

DRAWLINES ENGINEERING CONSULT is looking for a Joinery Draftsman in Doha-Qatar

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed shop drawings for joinery and carpentry works, including:

• Doors, wardrobes, cabinets, furniture, wall paneling, and custom joinery items
• Small construction details such as nails, screws, fittings, hardware, and fixings
• Develop drawings based on design drawings, specifications, and site conditions
• Prepare as-built drawings reflecting actual site execution
• Coordinate with production, factory, and site teams to ensure drawings are practical and buildable
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and approvals
• Revise drawings as required based on consultant/client comments
• Maintain organized drawing records and revisions
• Support material take-offs and fabrication requirements when needed

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Joinery / Carpentry Draftsman

Strong background in:

• Carpentry factories
• Joinery, furniture, and interior fit-out projects

Solid understanding of:

• Carpentry construction methods
• Joinery details, hardware, and finishes
• Experience producing shop drawings and as-built drawings
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy is essential
