Position Overview:

The Joinery Foreman is responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations related to joinery and fit-out works. This includes supervising carpenters and labor teams, checking materials and stock, ensuring quality installation, and maintaining site safety. The role ensures that all joinery activities are completed efficiently, on time, and in accordance with project standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide carpenters, helpers, and labor teams to ensure proper execution of joinery works on-site.
• Review work plans and ensure installations are carried out as per drawings and instructions from the Site Engineer.
• Monitor daily progress and report work updates, manpower, and material usage to the Site Engineer.
• Check and maintain availability of materials, tools, and hardware on-site; report shortages or damages promptly.
• Inspect workmanship and finishing to ensure quality standards are achieved.
• Coordinate with the Site Engineer and other trades (civil, MEP, finishing) for smooth workflow.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, ensuring all workers follow HSE guidelines.
• Assist in snagging, rectification works, and final handover preparation.
• Ensure tools and materials are properly stored and protected after work completion.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in joinery or interior fit-out projects, including site supervision experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of joinery works, installation methods, and finishing standards.
• Ability to read simple drawings and follow technical instructions.
• Good leadership and communication skills to manage teams effectively.
• Basic reporting and stock management skills.
• Physically fit and hands-on with site coordination tasks.
• Fluent in English (Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu is a plus).
