Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Joinery Production Coordinator to support and coordinate daily joinery factory production activities. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating between the project team, draftsmen, cutlist makers, production supervisors, carpenters, CNC/edge banding teams, store, purchase, and installation teams to ensure smooth and timely production.
The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of joinery production workflow, materials, hardware, drawings, cutlists, and factory coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily joinery production activities in the factory.
- Follow up with draftsmen, cutlist makers, production supervisors, team leaders, carpenters, CNC operators, edge banding team, polishing team, and installation team.
- Study approved shop drawings, cutlists, BOQ, material requests, and project schedules.
- Ensure all required drawings, cutlists, materials, hardware, accessories, and site measurements are available before production starts.
- Prepare and update daily production schedules and work progress reports.
- Coordinate with store and purchase teams for timely availability of materials.
- Track production status for each project, unit, and item.
- Follow up on pending approvals, missing details, revisions, and technical clarifications.
- Coordinate between factory and site team for delivery, installation, and urgent project requirements.
- Maintain proper records of drawings, cutlists, material requests, production status, delivery notes, and completed items.
- Assist the production manager/supervisor in planning manpower, machine usage, and priority works.
- Report production delays, material shortages, drawing issues, and quality concerns to management.
- Ensure production works are carried out as per approved drawings, project specifications, and company standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in joinery production coordination, interior fit-out, or furniture manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of joinery items such as cabinets, wardrobes, doors, counters, vanities, wall panels, kitchens, furniture, and custom joinery.
- Ability to read and understand shop drawings, cutlists, BOQ, material requests, and project schedules.
- Knowledge of materials such as MDF, plywood, veneer, laminate, solid wood, acrylic, edge banding, hardware, and accessories.
- Good understanding of joinery production stages including cutting, edge banding, assembly, CNC/routing, polishing, packing, delivery, and installation.
- Good coordination and follow-up skills.
- Strong communication skills with factory, site, project, store, and purchase teams.
- Basic computer knowledge is required.
- Experience in Excel, AutoCAD, ERP/CRM, or production tracking software will be an advantage.
- UAE joinery/furniture factory experience preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to prepare daily production reports.
- Experience in coordinating multiple projects at the same time.
- Knowledge of material planning and stock follow-up.
- Ability to identify production delays early and report corrective actions.
- Experience working with production supervisors, carpenters, and site installation teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Salary
