Joinery Workshop Manager

We are seeking an experienced Joinery Workshop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our joinery production facility in Dubai Investment Park. The role is responsible for managing production planning, supervising workshop staff, ensuring quality and safety standards, and driving efficiency across all joinery operations.

Responsibilities

· Plan, schedule, and manage daily joinery production activities to meet project timelines and specifications

· Supervise production staff and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards

· Monitor workflow and production efficiency, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements

· Ensure all joinery products meet company quality standards through regular inspections

· Address quality issues and coordinate corrective actions with production teams

· Manage, train, and support workshop staff, including performance monitoring and development

· Ensure optimal staff utilization and maintain workforce motivation

· Monitor raw material inventory and coordinate with procurement to maintain adequate stock levels

· Control material usage to minimize waste and manage production costs

· Enforce health and safety policies and investigate incidents or hazards

· Maintain accurate production records and prepare performance and efficiency reports

· Support production budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives

· Work closely with senior management to improve productivity and reduce operational costs

Requirements

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in joinery production, with supervisory or management responsibility

· Strong knowledge of joinery techniques, materials, machinery, and tools

· Experience with production planning, quality control, and workshop operations

· Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills

· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

· Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a production environment

· Proficiency in MS Office and production management systems, etc.
