Jr. Accountant

Position: Jr. Accountant

Location: Hyderabad

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Jr. Accountant to join our team and assist with our company's accounting functions. The Accountant will work closely with the Senior Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, some experience in accounting or a related field, and proficiency in using Tally Prime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain and manage accurate financial records, including ledger entries, journal entries, and other accounting documents.
• Prepare and process payments, including vendor invoices, expense reports, and employee reimbursements.
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.
• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Conduct research and analyze financial information to identify discrepancies or irregularities.
• Respond to accounting inquiries from management and other departments.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Use Tally Prime to maintain accounting records and generate reports.
• Use Excel to create and analyze financial data and reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Some experience in accounting or a related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
