RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform cabling, terminations, and structured wiring for AV system installations.
- Install and configure a wide range of AV equipment including projectors, displays, telephone systems, microphones (wired/wireless), speakers, mixers, amplifiers, and conferencing units.
- Interpret and work accurately from AV drawings and schematic diagrams.
- Understand AV signal flow and system architecture to ensure proper installation and integration.
- Conduct testing and commissioning of AV systems to validate functionality and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AV systems and equipment. Perform routine maintenance, system upgrades, and ensure long-term operational efficiency of AV setups.
- Maintain high installation standards, adhering to quality and safety guidelines. Provide regular updates on project/work status to supervisors and stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, technical teams, and project stakeholders for successful implementation.
- Stay updated with the latest AV technologies and industry trends to support evolving system requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Educational Qualification: ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Basic understanding of AV systems, including installation and configuration, with a strong willingness to learn.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, or an eagerness to develop this skill.
- Interest in troubleshooting and problem-solving with a proactive attitude.
- High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in tasks and following standard procedures.
- Strong sense of responsibility with the ability to manage tasks independently.
- Openness to learning new AV technologies and adapting to industry trends.
