Jr. Design Engineer

Role and Responsibilities:

• Capture and specify design requirements for new product concepts.
• Research and analyze concepts using mathematical modelling to evaluate feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the Engineering and Project teams to integrate design solutions.
• Develop technical plans for prototypes using SolidWorks and CAD software.
• Evaluate design proposals, addressing issues and ensuring high-quality aesthetics and functionality.
• Present design ideas, critique alternatives, and contribute to design reviews.
• Provide cost proposals and simulations for prototype and new product designs.
• Manage multiple design-related challenges, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Modify and track design changes to meet specification requirements.
• Oversee the Bill of Materials (BoM), CAD models, and engineering drawings.
• Stay up-to-date with current engineering trends and best practices.
• Lead special projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure quality control through appropriate reviews and support process improvements.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
• Write detailed reports, present progress in meetings, and ensure project goals are achieved within budget.
• Conduct benchmarking studies to define future design trends and best practices.
• Deliver presentations and actively participate in team collaborations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic/Mechanical Engineering.
• Certification in SolidWorks.
• Passion for engineering innovation and product development.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and design skills.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
• Willingness to undertake continuous training and development.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
