Jr Planning Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Planning Engineer with 1–3 years of experience, preferably with hands-on exposure to quantity take-offs, to support planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and updating project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and assist in BOQs
• Monitor site progress and update schedules accordingly
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
• Coordinate with site and engineering teams for progress and quantity verification
• Assist in look-ahead planning, resource loading, and baseline comparisons
• Support delay analysis and planning-related documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in planning or site coordination
• Experience in quantity take-offs is highly preferred
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Good analytical, reporting, and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience on infrastructure / industrial projects
• Familiarity with BOQs and construction methodologies
• Basic understanding of cost control is an advantage
