Project Controls Manager

Location: Reko Diq site, Balochistan province.

Project Controls Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, cost control, progress monitoring, risk management, and reporting to ensure successful project delivery.

1. Planning & Scheduling

Develop, maintain, and update the master project schedule using Primavera P6 or MS Project.

Integrate engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) activities into a unified schedule.

Define WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) and coding structure for schedule management.

Track progress against the baseline schedule and identify deviations.

Provide schedule forecasts, look-aheads, and recovery plans.

2. Cost Control & Budget Management

Develop project budgets, cost breakdown structures (CBS), and control accounts.

Monitor project expenditures and compare them against the approved budget.

Prepare cost forecasts, cash flow projections, and variance analyses.

Identify cost deviations and recommend corrective actions.

Ensure adherence to financial, contractual, and corporate policies.

3. Risk, Change, and Claims Management

Identify, assess, and monitor project risks and opportunities.

Support development of mitigation plans with PM and discipline leads.

Manage change control: evaluate change requests, impacts, and approvals.

Support claim preparation and analysis for contractors or clients.

4. Coordination & Communication

Work closely with project managers, engineering leads, procurement, and construction teams.

Participate in project review meetings and coordinate interfaces.

Ensure accurate data exchange between different functions.

Provide guidance and supervision to planners, schedulers, and cost engineers.

5. Compliance & Documentation

Maintain project control procedures in accordance with company standards.

Ensure proper documentation, records, and audit trails.

Ensure compliance with contractual, HSE, and quality requirements.
