Jr. Structural Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Structural Design Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing/ developing structural designs, preparing detailed calculations, reviewing drawings, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a range of challenging projects in Gulf Area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare structural design calculations for steel, concrete.
• Review detailed structural drawings and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to ensure design integration.
• Conduct structural analysis using software (STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000).
• Ensure compliance with local codes, international standards, and client requirements.
• Perform site visits as needed to assess conditions and support construction.
• Prepare design reports, specifications, and technical documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant structural design experience.
• Strong knowledge of design codes (ACI, AISC, IS, Euro codes).
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (STAAD, ETABS, etc.) and AutoCAD/Revit.
• Good understanding of material behavior, load paths, and construction methods.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred:

• Experience in large scale projects & high-rise buildings.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows.
• Well known of UAE local codes and standards.
