Junior Accountant

Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Dubai, UAE

Salary: AED 2,000 – AED 2,500 per month

About the Role

We are looking for a diligent and enthusiastic Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate or an individual with up to two years of experience in accounting. A commerce background is highly preferred, and any experience in audit will be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
• Process and reconcile invoices, expenses, and payments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts.
• Support in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare and process journal entries.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist in preparing for audits by providing necessary documentation and information (if applicable).
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Audit experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Tally) and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be located in Dubai or willing to relocate immediately.
