JOB OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an experienced accountant who has working experience with a UK based company. As an accountant, you will perform a variety of professional level accounting duties involved in preparing, maintaining, analyzing, verifying, and reconciling complex financial transactions, Budgeting, Reconciliation, Cash Flow management, statements, records, and reports; maintains the accuracy of the Company’s ledgers and subsidiary financial systems; assists in the preparation of assigned budgets, annual audit, and year end closing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accounts Payable & Receivable Management
• Preparing of financial statements & Bookkeeping on QuickBooks & Sage.
• Payroll Management. Withholding Tax Filling & Value Added Tax (VAT).
• Invoice & Billing, Financial Statements and Analysis.
• Bank Reconciliations, Budgeting & Forecasting.
• Detailed reconciliation of credit and cash payments, driver payments and bookings.
• Management accounts Cash flow Management
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.
• Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.

Required skills/qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Accountant with UK based companies/projects.
• Exceptional communication skills
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, especially SAGE, QuickBooks, & MS Office.
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with 2 years of work experience.
• Member of ACCA /CA/ICMA or other accountancy body.
• Full-time, Contract, Office Based, Market Competitive Salary.
