Accountant – Job Description

Star Gallery Mart is one of the UAE’s fastest-growing retail and e-commerce companies, specializing in electronics, gadgets, mobile accessories, and home appliances.

As part of our rapid expansion, we are looking for a skilled Accountant with strong experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and audits to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
• Post and process journal entries accurately
• Assist in monthly payroll preparation
• Perform regular reconciliations, including bank and inter-branch accounts
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports
• Support preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and statutory reports
• Ensure financial records are audit-ready and compliant with UAE regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2 years UAE accounting experience (Retail or E-commerce preferred)
• Audit experience is mandatory
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Sage, Tally, or similar)
• Strong Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills
• Good communication and time-management skills
