Job Title: Junior Accountant (Manufacturing & Costing)

Job Purpose: The Junior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing the accounts payable/receivable cycle, and ensuring seamless integration between our manufacturing operations and the SAP/ERP system. This role requires a candidate who understands the complexities of Bill of Materials (BOM) and inventory valuation within a production environment.

Key Responsibilities1. ERP & SAP Financial Management Execute daily accounting transactions within the SAP/ERP environment.

Ensure that all financial data migrated from the manufacturing floor (production orders) is accurately reflected in the financial modules. Maintain the Chart of Accounts and ensure proper cost center allocation.

2. Manufacturing & Inventory Accounting: Perform monthly Inventory Reconciliations (Raw Materials, Packaging, and Finished Perfumes/Cosmetics).Monitor Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and assist in analyzing variances between standard costs and actual production costs. Process vendor invoices for raw material imports, ensuring all landed costs (freight, duties, insurance) are correctly capitalized.

3. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage the Three-Way Match process: Purchase Order (PO) vs. Goods Receipt Note (GRN) vs. Supplier Invoice. Follow up on outstanding receivables from distributors and retail outlets. Prepare weekly payment runs for local and international suppliers.

4. Reporting & Compliance: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Prepare schedules for VAT filings and ensure compliance with local tax regulations. Support internal and external auditors by providing necessary SAP reports and documentation. Technical & Professional Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/ACCA/CMA part-qualified is a plus).

Experience: 3 to 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing or FMCG company.
