Job description:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an aspiring Accounting Professional to further their career with a highly reputed Real Estate & Property Management company in Dubai.
The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with UAE financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
· Accounting & Financial Operations
· Perform data entry of accounting transactions using FirstBit / 1C software
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and documentation
· Handle accounts receivable and payable, including billing, collections, and refunds
· Prepare and issue receipts to property owners for rent, utilities, and deposits
· Process cheque requisitions and petty cash vouchers
· Banking & Reconciliation
· Record and monitor bank transactions
· Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely clearing of reconciling items
· Reconcile accounts payable and receivable balances
· Reporting & Analysis
· Assist in preparing financial reports and analysis
· Support preparation of Balance Sheet and year-end MIS reports
· Maintain and review general ledger and journal entries
· Conduct monthly account reconciliations
· Revenue & Lease Management
· Run monthly recurring billing and ensure revenue aligns with signed lease agreements
· Monitor and verify guest balances (advances, deposits, receivables, revenue)
· Ensure accuracy of Statements of Account (SOA)
· Coordination & Compliance
· Coordinate with internal teams on invoicing, payments, and discrepancies
· Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations
· Review and verify employee reimbursement claims
· Track and maintain inventory records
Qualifications & Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
· Real Estate / Property Management experience is an advantage
· Experience with FirstBit or 1C accounting software is an advantage
· Knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax laws is an advantage
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
