Junior Accountant

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team in our dynamic and fast-growing ecommerce company. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for assisting with various financial tasks and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily accounting activities, including journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, monthly and yearly closing activities, and reconciliation of accounts.
• Validate and reconcile financial transactions and ensure accuracy of supporting documentation.
• Assist in the monitoring and tracking of company expenses.
• Support the Accountant / Senior Accountant in the preparation of financial reports.
• Stay up to date with changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices and ensure compliance in financial procedures and reporting.
• Familiarity with ERP systems like Net Suite and Advance Excel.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Fresher Graduate or 1 year of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in an ecommerce or retail environment.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
