Junior Accountant (Howrah)

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with 2–3 years of experience in accounting for a garment manufacturing company. The candidate should be proficient in purchase and sales entries, e-way bill generation, GST preparation, and bank reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Operations:

Enter purchase and sales transactions in accounting software (Tally).

Maintain accurate ledgers and financial records.

Tax & Compliance:

Prepare GST calculations and assist in filing returns.

Generate and manage e-way bills for dispatch and logistics.

Bank Reconciliation:

Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statement (BRS) on a regular basis.

Monitor payment and receipt transactions.

Inventory & Vendor Coordination:

Assist in purchase-related accounting and inventory control.

Liaise with vendors for invoice verification and payment status.

Reporting:

Prepare daily and monthly accounting reports as required by management.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: B.Com or equivalent in Accounting/Finance.

Experience: 2–3 years in accounting (manufacturing sector experience preferred).

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel.

Knowledge of GST, e-way bill, and other statutory compliance.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
