Junior Architect

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and creative Junior Architect of 1 Year experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in architectural design and a keen eye for detail. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects while collaborating with experienced professionals in the field. As a Junior Architect, you will assist in the design and execution of architectural projects, contributing to all phases from conception through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of architectural designs and plans using software such as AutoCAD, Sketch Up , Photoshop.
• Collaborate with senior architects and project managers to ensure project requirements are met effectively.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction projects, including joinery details.
• Participate in project management activities, including scheduling and coordinating with contractors and clients.
• Utilise software tools such as SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite for visualisation and presentation purposes.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Engage in negotiations with suppliers and contractors to secure the best materials and services for projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design quality.

Requirements

• A degree in Architecture or a related field is essential.
• Proficiency in architectural software including AutoCAD, SketchUp , Photoshop is required.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite for graphic presentations is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and project management principles is preferred.
• Excellent negotiation skills to effectively communicate with clients and contractors.
• A creative mindset with the ability to think critically about design challenges.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
