Overview:
The
Data Analyst I
supports operational and business decision‑making by importing, cleansing, validating, and analyzing data. The role focuses on improving data quality, consolidating information, and presenting insights through clear visualizations.
Responsibilities

Import, cleanse, validate, and organize datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and readiness for operational and business use.

Identify data errors, inconsistencies, or gaps and correct or escalate them to maintain high data quality.

Consolidate data from multiple sources and prepare structured summaries, dashboards, and visuals (charts, graphs, tables).

Perform basic data analysis to identify trends, variances, and insights that support decision‑making.

Generate routine and ad‑hoc reports using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and other analytical tools.

Create clear data presentations that effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.

Use SAP for data extraction, validation, and reporting tasks as directed.

Support database management activities, including data entry, updates, and simple queries.

Collaborate with senior analysts and leadership to understand requirements and deliver accurate, timely outputs.

Follow established data procedures and documentation standards to ensure consistency and repeatability.

Assist in monitoring operational metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Maintain documentation of datasets, reporting logic, and workflows for reference and training.

Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance data quality and streamline workflows.
Skills & Qualifications

Degree in Engineering Technology or Computer Science; SAP experience

Database management experience and/or relevant training

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Suite, Powerpoint), Power BI/Tableau

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate data clearly

Experience in report generation and data analysis.
