Junior Draftsmen-Detailed drawings-Furniture Manufacturing

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Designer/Draftsman to join our team at Plumsheep. As a key part of our design department, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and technical designs, ensuring that each piece is meticulously crafted to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed furniture design drawings and technical schematics using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Collaborate with designers, production managers, and clients to understand design requirements and translate them into precise, manufacturable plans.
• Ensure all designs comply with the company's standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetics.
• Modify and update existing designs based on client feedback or production constraints.
• Work closely with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve design issues during manufacturing.
• Maintain up-to-date records of all design drafts and revisions.
• Liaise with the sales and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction from design to final delivery.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Designer or Draftsman in the furniture manufacturing industry, preferably with experience in upholstered or bespoke furniture.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
• Strong technical drawing skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of materials, construction methods, and upholstery techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of furniture production processes and technical aspects of furniture design.
