Job Description – Junior Maintenance Engineer (Electrical)

Experience: 2-3 years
Qualification: BE(EEE)/Diploma in EEE
Location: Hosur
Department: Maintenance / Engineering

Key Roles & Responsibilities

· Inspect, test, and maintain electrical equipment such as motors, panels, lighting, and wiring.

· Identify and fix basic electrical faults under supervision.

· Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns.

· Record maintenance activities, faults, and repairs in logbooks or maintenance software.

· Support the maintenance team in ensuring electrical systems and equipment run efficiently.

· Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

· Report to the Maintenance Engineer or Supervisor.

· Follow safety rules and company maintenance procedures.

· Learn and develop technical skills related to electrical systems.

· Assist in installations, upgrades, and commissioning of electrical systems.

· Follow electrical safety procedures and use proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

· Responsible for maintaining and managing all IATF 16949-related documentation

· Maintain tools, spare parts, and report any shortages or damages.

· Stay updated on new technologies, standards, and company practices
