Junior Finance Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Finance Executive to join our Finance team. The role involves managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, supporting reconciliation activities, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all daily financial transactions.
• Reconcile daily, monthly, and annual financial data to ensure consistency and correctness.
• Ensure timely updates to financial records in line with transaction changes and adjustments.
• Conduct reconciliations and make necessary adjustments to ensure financial accuracy.
• Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable from merchants, ensuring timely reconciliation, and report discrepancies to management.
• Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies raised by Customer Service or Sales teams.
• Perform general ledger reconciliations to uphold the accuracy and integrity of financial records
• Act as a liaison for finance-related queries from other departments, providing support and clarification when needed.
• Identify and suggest improvements in processes to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Support the month-end closing process by preparing relevant documentation and reconciliations.
• Collaborate closely with other members of the Finance team to ensure alignment and consistency in financial operations.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Fresh to 1 year of Experience in the related field

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Basic knowledge of financial systems and accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
