Junior Functional Consultant – D365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Functional Consultant – D365 F&O to join our IT Division. The role will support the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.

The ideal candidate will contribute to ERP transformation initiatives, including Dynamics AX to D365 F&O upgrades, system testing, documentation, and user training, while working closely with internal stakeholders and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. ERP Implementation & Configuration

· Assist in the implementation and configuration of D365 F&O modules, including Finance, Procurement, Inventory, and Supply Chain

· Configure system components such as chart of accounts, workflows, financial dimensions, and security roles

· Participate in business requirement gathering and process mapping

2. AX to D365 Upgrade Support

· Support migration activities from Dynamics AX (2009/2012) to D365 F&O

· Perform functional gap analysis and assist in aligning legacy processes with D365 standards

· Document and recommend solutions for identified gaps

3. Testing & Quality Assurance

· Execute functional testing (FUT, SIT, UAT) to ensure system accuracy and readiness

· Identify, track, and support resolution of system defects

· Validate system configurations against business requirements

4. Documentation & Training

· Prepare functional documents, user manuals, and configuration workbooks

· Deliver end-user training and provide post-go-live support

· Maintain proper documentation aligned with project standards

5. Stakeholder Coordination

· Work closely with business users, consultants, and IT teams

· Participate in project meetings and status updates

· Communicate risks, issues, and progress effectively

Qualifications & Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, IT, or related field

· Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O modules

· Experience or exposure to Dynamics AX (2009/2012) is an advantage

· Understanding of ERP concepts such as financial configurations, workflows, and data migration

· Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills

· Good communication and stakeholder coordination abilities

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

Preferred Skills

· Knowledge of data migration tools (DIXF / Data Management Framework)

· Familiarity with ERP implementation lifecycle

· Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment
