Junior Instructor – Physiotherapy Technician (Islamkot)

JOB PURPOSE:

The Junior Instructor – Physiotherapy Technician will assist in delivering high-quality theoretical and practical training to students enrolled in the Physiotherapy Technician program. The role supports classroom instruction, practical demonstrations, student assessments, and maintaining training equipment, ensuring that learners receive competency-based, industry-relevant education.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Assist in conducting theoretical and practical sessions as per the approved curriculum.

· Support senior instructor during demonstrations of physiotherapy techniques, equipment usage, and treatment procedures.

· Guide students during hands-on practice and ensure safe training methods.

· Maintain discipline and ensure a conducive learning environment.

· Contribute to lesson planning, instructional materials, and practical activity planning.

· Assist in preparing and administering quizzes, practical assessments, and assignments.

· Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.

· Ensure physiotherapy lab equipment is properly maintained, functional, and safely operated.

· Support the setup of practical sessions and maintain cleanliness and organization of training areas.

· Report equipment repair or replacement needs in a timely manner.

· Provide academic and practical support to students needing additional assistance.

· Mentor learners on professional behavior, communication, and patient handling skills.

· Encourage student participation, confidence, and skill development.

· Maintain student attendance, progress records, and assessment results.

· Participate in academic meetings, workshops, and training sessions.

· Any other task assigned by your line manager.

Qualification and Requirements:

Diploma / Certification in Physiotherapy Technology (PPT) or equivalent.

Fresh graduates may apply; 1–2 years of training or clinical experience is preferred.

Basic knowledge of physical therapy modalities, equipment, and patient-care techniques.

Familiarity with vocational/technical training environments is an advantage.
