JUNIOR IT CONSULTANT

Junior Business Analyst that can support the process of gathering and documenting requirements for complex government IT projects. The expert must have experience of working with end users to gather requirements or demonstrate prototypes. Must have experience of analysing and documenting software requirements.

Key Tasks:

• Collaborating with stakeholders to define business requirements and deliverables

• Translating business needs into technical specifications

• Designing, implementing and maintaining reporting systems that provide accessible information for decision-making

• Using data modelling practices to analyse findings and create recommendations for strategic and operational improvements

• Preparing detailed reports by collecting, analysing and summarising information and trends

• Documenting use cases that define requirements for data exchange between IT systems, including the purpose for the exchange, the data to be exchanged and the protocol for the data exchange

• Creating and maintaining technical documentation required for standardising interoperability between IT systems.

Qualifications:

1) Education/Training : - Bachelors in business administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. (8 points) - 1 certification such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or IIBA Agile Analysis Certification (IIBA-AAC) (2 points)

2) Language: - English (7 points) and Urdu (3 points)at C1 level or above (based on CEFR levels)

3) General Professional Experience :

- 2 years of experience in business analysis or a related field. (5 points)

- 1 year of experience in eliciting requirements and testing. (2 points) 2 years experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools. (3 points)

4) Specific Professional Experience: - 1 year of experience working with government (5 points) - 1 year of experience working in social protection (5 points)

Professional experience in the country/region of assignment : - 2 years’ experience working in Pakistan as a Junior IT Consultant (7 points) - 1 year of experience working with government social protection agencies (3 points)

5) Development cooperation experience: - 1 year of experience working in development cooperation projects
