Position Overview

The Junior Marketing Designer plays a key role in supporting Reading Horizons’ marketing and sales initiatives through creative design. This entry-level position is ideal for a designer who’s eager to grow, thrives in a collaborative environment, and enjoys creating a wide variety of marketing and communication assets—from social media graphics to event materials and sales collateral.

You’ll work closely with the marketing, design, and sales teams to help bring our brand to life across channels and ensure visual consistency and impact in all communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce digital and print marketing materials including:
  • Social media graphics and Canva templates
  • Email and web banners
  • Display and retargeting ads
  • Event signage, swag, and giveaway materials
  • One-sheets, flyers, and other sales enablement collateral
• Assist in updating and maintaining branded assets and templates for internal and external use.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure designs align with campaign goals and brand guidelines.
• Support the creation of visual content for product launches, campaigns, and presentations.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for campaigns and promotions.
• Organize and manage design files and assets to support cross-team accessibility.

Requirements:

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 0–2 years of professional design experience (internship experience welcome).
• Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign).
• Understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, and layout best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience and/or demonstrated competency in designing content for print, web, and digital platforms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
