Junior Planning Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Planning Engineer to assist the Senior Planner in developing and maintaining baseline and updated project schedules. The role involves monitoring progress against planned activities, analyzing schedule variances, and supporting the implementation of corrective actions to improve planning efficiency and overall project performance.

Responsibilites:

• Prepare and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Update activity schedules based on site progress.
• Monitor construction progress and compare actual performance against planned schedules.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Prepare and submit planning documents and reports required by management.
• Develop and review subcontractor schedules and programs.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to identify project requirements and constraints.
• Support schedule analysis, progress tracking, and reporting activities.
• Travel to project sites as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in planning or scheduling within construction or engineering sectors.
• Experience working with building contractors is required.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with change orders, site design, project design, and cost estimate explanations.
• UAE Driver’s License is an advantage.
