JUNIOR PRODUCTION MANAGER - WHISPER KSA role at Whisper in Riyadh, KSA. Whisper is a leading global production company specialising in sports, unscripted and branded entertainment. We are looking for a Junior Production Manager to join our Whisper team in Riyadh, KSA, working across the slate including Live & Non-Live Sport, Branded & Documentaries. The role suits someone with strong leadership, who thrives under pressure and can adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. You'll need to be proactive, able to work independently, and know when to escalate issues or seek guidance. Strong leadership and the ability to drive a team forward are essential.

This is mainly an office-based role with the possibility of on-location work, collaborating with the Production Executives, Production Managers, Producers and the wider production team.

Start: ASAP (based on experience). Working days: 5 days per week (x4 in office, x1 WFH). Optional flexitime hours may be available subject to production requirements.

Location: Riyadh, KSA.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct support to the Production Executive & Production Management team, and communicating key production information to Producers and the editorial team
• Planning shoots, OBs, booking crews and travel arrangements
• Organising and booking travel for contributors & talent in KSA and internationally
• Negotiating rates with external suppliers and crew
• Preparing call sheets with accurate movement orders
• Understanding Health & Safety policies to support writing of Risk Assessments
• Preparing budgets for various production types
• Reporting budgetary issues to the Production Manager and tracking costs via cost managers
• Scheduling edits, coordinating key personnel time with diverse requirements
• Clearing music & archive material and reporting correctly
• Understanding and distributing accurate client requirements to ensure timely deliverables

Qualifications / Skills

• Good communication skills and a strong team ethic
• Experience managing multiple projects for different clients / broadcasters
• Ability to work in a pressurised production environment
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Planning and budgeting experience for OB, location & digital filming
• Managing post production schedules and delivery requirements
• Knowledge of rights & music clearance; post production paperwork including archive clearance
• Technical knowledge of camera / ingesting rushes
• Ability to work with and manage relationships in a diverse team and provide supportive editorial assistance
• Proactive, positive work ethic and ability to work on own initiative
• Attention to detail and ability to adapt to project changes
• Flexibility with changing workloads and new systems
