Junior SEO Specialist

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior SEO Specialist to join our digital marketing team. In this role, you will assist in executing SEO strategies to increase organic visibility for our diverse range of internal and client projects.

At Shape Solutions, we value innovation; therefore, you will be expected to work closely with our web development and content teams to implement best practices and leverage AI tools to automate and enhance search engine rankings.

Key Responsibilities

• Keyword & AI Research: Assist in identifying high-value keywords and use AI assistants (like ChatGPT/Claude) to brainstorm content clusters and search intent.
  

• On-Page Optimization: Optimize website elements including meta titles, descriptions, headers, and internal linking structures using SEO and AI drafting tools.
  

• Off-Page SEO: Support link-building efforts through outreach, directory listings, and guest posting opportunities.
  

• Technical SEO Support: Help identify and report basic technical issues like broken links, slow page speeds, and sitemap errors.
  

• AI Integration: Use AI-powered tools to streamline SEO workflows, generate meta-data, and assist in content optimization while maintaining human-level quality.
  

• Reporting: Monitor performance using Google Analytics and Search Console; assist in preparing weekly/monthly progress reports.
  

• Competitor Analysis: Keep an eye on industry trends and competitor strategies to identify new growth opportunities.
  
  
  
  

Requirements

• Experience: 6 months to 1 year of experience in SEO (Relevant internships are highly encouraged).
  

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  

• Technical Skills: * Basic understanding of SEO principles (On-page, Off-page, and Technical).
  

• Proficiency in AI Tools: Hands-on experience using ChatGPT, Gemini, or Jasper for SEO task automation and content assistance.
  

• Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or Ubersuggest).
  

• Basic knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
  

• Soft Skills: * Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  

• Analytical mindset with a passion for staying updated on Google algorithm changes.
  

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced software house environment.
