Junior SQA

Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior SQA Engineer to assist in ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and passionate about delivering high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications
• Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like Jira, Trello, Monday.com or ClickUp
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing
• Assist in writing basic test cases, test plans, and checklists
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers
• Perform UI, functional, and cross-browser testing
• Ensure releases meet quality standards before deployment

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts & SDLC
• Familiarity with manual testing techniques
• Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript – basic level)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Nice to Have (Optional)

• Basic knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright – beginner level)
• Experience testing WordPress, WooCommerce, or Shopify websites
• Understanding of API testing (Postman – basic)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs90,000.00 per month
