ABOUT DASH.FI
Dash.fi Technologies, Inc. is a Mastercard-powered financial technology platform built specifically for digital advertisers, e-commerce brands, and performance marketing businesses. We provide high-limit commercial credit cards, flexible payment solutions, and intelligent spend management tools that help our clients scale their ad budgets without the cash flow friction of traditional banking.
At Dash.fi, risk and credit are not back-office functions — they are central to our product. Our underwriting team sits at the intersection of fintech innovation and disciplined financial analysis, evaluating the creditworthiness of fast-moving e-commerce and advertising businesses that traditional lenders routinely misunderstand. If you love analyzing business performance, thinking critically about risk, and operating at the pace of digital commerce, this is the role for you.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Junior Underwriter will support Dash.fi’s credit and risk operations by evaluating credit applications, analyzing business financial profiles, and assisting in the management of existing cardmember risk exposure. This role works closely with the Senior Underwriter and Risk leadership to ensure that credit decisions are accurate, consistent, defensible, and aligned with Dash.fi’s credit policy and risk appetite.
The ideal candidate brings a foundation in financial analysis or credit, a sharp analytical mind, comfort working with data and financial statements, and the ability to think independently under time pressure. Experience in fintech, commercial lending, card programs, or digital advertising verticals is a strong plus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Credit Evaluation & Application Review
- Review and analyze incoming credit applications from digital advertisers, e-commerce merchants, and performance marketing businesses.

- Make credit limit recommendations within delegated authority levels; escalate complex or higher-risk decisions to Senior Underwriter or VP of Risk.
- Ensure all credit decisions are documented accurately in the underwriting system with clear rationale and supporting evidence.
Portfolio Monitoring & Risk Management
- Monitor existing cardmember accounts for changes in spending behavior, utilization trends, payment patterns, and delinquency signals.
- Support periodic credit line reviews and limit adjustment decisions for existing accounts based on updated financial data and performance history.
- Assist in identifying accounts requiring credit line decreases, increased scrutiny, or suspension based on risk triggers.
- Contribute to the maintenance of the risk monitoring dashboard and delinquency tracking reports.
- Assist in fraud pattern identification and escalate suspected fraudulent activity per protocol.
Documentation, Compliance & Process
- Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready underwriting files for all credit decisions.

- Partner with Operations and Customer Success on escalated account issues requiring credit context.
- Work closely with the Engineering team to provide input on credit decisioning system improvements, data capture requirements, and automation opportunities.
