About Dash.fi
Dash.fi Technologies, Inc. is a Mastercard-powered financial technology platform built for digital advertisers, e-commerce brands, and performance marketing businesses. We provide high-limit commercial credit cards, flexible payment solutions, and intelligent spend management tools that help clients scale advertising budgets and operating velocity without the friction of traditional banking.
Our clients move fast and operate with complex financials — multiple revenue streams, volatile cash flows, and seasonality driven by advertising platform performance. The Underwriting team is the analytical engine that ensures we can say yes quickly and confidently to the right businesses.
Position Overview
The Junior Underwriting Analyst is an entry-level, execution-focused role on Dash.fi's Underwriting Operations team. The primary function of this role is to review, organize, and prepare financial document packages that support the underwriting decision-making process. You are not making credit decisions — you are ensuring that the right financial information is collected, validated, and presented accurately so that senior underwriters can move quickly and confidently.
The most important thing we are looking for is not prior underwriting experience. What matters most is a strong foundation in financial statements and accounting principles — the ability to read a P&L, understand a balance sheet, and know what a cash flow statement is telling you about a business. If you have an accounting or finance background and you are precise, organized, and process-driven, we can teach you everything else.
What We Are Really Looking For
A candidate who can pick up a set of financial statements and quickly orient themselves — identifying revenue, gross profit, operating expenses, cash position, and red flags. You do not need to have worked in underwriting. You need to understand the language of business financials. A background in accounting, financial analysis, bookkeeping, banking, or finance is the foundation we are building on.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Document Review & Validation
2. Package Assembly & Documentation
3. Process Execution & SLA Compliance
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
First 30 Days
Complete onboarding on Dash.fi's products, client base, and underwriting process. Review 20+ historical application packages to understand what complete versus incomplete looks like. Shadow the Head of Underwriting on live decisions to understand what information drives outcomes. Process first independent packages under close review.
Days 31–60
Operate independently on standard packages with minimal rework. Meet defined SLA targets consistently. Demonstrate clear follow-up habits with Account Executives. Begin identifying document completeness issues before they are flagged.
Days 61–90
Own full package throughput independently. Deliver first quality review showing accuracy rate at or above team benchmark. Identify at least one process or documentation improvement and present it to the Head of Underwriting.
Completeness and accuracy of submitted underwriting packages as scored on regular quality reviews.
Rework Rate
Volume of packages returned due to missing or incorrect documentation — lower is better.
SLA Compliance
Percentage of packages completed and routed within defined turnaround windows.
Follow-Up Efficiency
Reduction in back-and-forth with Account Executives due to proactive completeness checks.
Stakeholder Satisfaction
Feedback from Head of Underwriting and Account Executives on communication quality and reliability.
What We Offer
Compliance & Equal Opportunity
Dash.fi Technologies, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer. All employment decisions are made on the basis of qualifications, merit, and business need. This role involves access to confidential client financial information. The successful candidate will be required to complete background screening and execute all applicable confidentiality and data security agreements.
How to Apply
Submit your resume and a brief cover letter describing your background in financial statements, accounting, or finance — and why this type of analytical, detail-driven work appeals to you at this stage of your career. Applications should be directed to the People Operations team via the designated application channel.
