Junior WordPress Developer

Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, while supporting SEO, performance optimization, and digital marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities WordPress Development & Management

• Assist in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites based on business requirements
• Build responsive and visually appealing pages using Elementor or similar page builders
• Help optimize website speed, performance, and mobile responsiveness
• Support website security, backups, and plugin/theme updates
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues and coordinate with senior developers when required
• Follow best practices for clean code, scalability, and site structure

Technical SEO & Website Optimization

• Assist in optimizing website structure, URLs, and on-page SEO elements
• Support keyword research and implementation of SEO strategies
• Help improve site indexing using tools like Google Search Console
• Ensure proper integration of analytics and tracking tools

Digital Marketing Support

• Support digital campaigns, including Google Ads and social media promotions
• Assist in content updates and landing page creation
• Collaborate with marketing teams to align website performance with campaign goals
• Contribute to improving user experience and conversions

Analytics & Performance Tracking

• Monitor website traffic and basic user behavior metrics
• Assist in analyzing performance using Google Analytics
• Help prepare reports and insights
• Support ongoing optimization efforts

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Marketing, or a related field (or in progress)
• 0–2 years of experience in WordPress development
• Basic understanding of WordPress CMS, Elementor, and HTML/CSS
• Familiarity with SEO concepts and website optimization
• Knowledge of Google Analytics and Search Console is a plus
• Basic understanding of digital marketing is preferred
• Strong willingness to learn and grow
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
