Key Account Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive our retail motor and health insurance business across North India regions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in General Insurance (GI), specifically within agency/direct channels and branch banking environments. This role involves managing a team and will be responsible for generating business and revenue from allocated NBFC/MFI branches

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve business targets in the retail motor and health insurance segment.

• Develop and execute strategies to generate business from the allocated branches of NBFCs and MFIs.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with agency and direct channels to ensure continuous business flow.

• Identify and implement cross-selling opportunities for retail insurance products.

• Drive cross-sell initiatives within the assigned NBFC/MFI branches to maximize product penetration.

• Travel extensively across North India (UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, NCR) to support business objectives and client needs.

• Ensure consistent revenue growth and exceed set targets for the region.

• Monitor performance metrics and provide guidance and support to the team to meet sales objectives.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies

Your key qualifications & competencies:

• Proven experience in General Insurance, particularly in agency/direct sales and branch banking.

• Experience managing a team and handling business operations in multiple regions.

• Strong business acumen and ability to drive revenue generation.

• Experience in cross-selling retail insurance products.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to travel extensively across North India.

• Ability to work independently and lead a team towards achieving targets

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
