Key Account Manager

Position Title:

Key Account Manager – Oil & Gas & Petrochemical (Instrumentation, SCADA & Digital Solutions)

Overview: The Key Account Manager (KAM) will be responsible for managing and growing strategic accounts within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors in Saudi Arabia. This role requires proven expertise in selling Industrial Instrumentation, SCADA, BMS, and Industry 4.0 Digital Solutions , with a strong focus on value-based selling, long-term client relationships, and revenue growth. The KAM will align advanced automation and digital solutions with client operational and business objectives to maximize customer value and company performance.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Manage and expand key accounts within the Saudi Oil & Gas and Petrochemical market.
  • Drive sales solutions of Instrumentation systems, SCADA, BMS, and Industry 4.0 Digital Solutions .
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve or exceed assigned sales and revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts, including automation upgrades and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director to forecast revenue and meet financial objectives.

Account Management & Client Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers.
  • Act as the primary commercial and solution advisor for automation, control, and digital offerings .
  • Conduct regular client meetings to understand operational challenges and propose tailored technical solutions.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to contract closure.

Contract & Commercial Negotiation

  • Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, contract terms, and conditions, in coordination with Legal and Finance teams.
  • Ensure effective contract execution and address any commercial or contractual issues.

Solution Alignment & Delivery Support

  • Work closely with engineering, pre-sales, and delivery teams to provide end-to-end automation and digital solutions , including SCADA, BMS, instrumentation, and Industry 4.0 platforms.
  • Support proposal development and ensure technical and commercial alignment with client requirements.

Market Intelligence & Business Development

  • Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities within the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors.
